Fix It Friday 46 | I Heart Faces

Normally I don’t get a chance to enter the Fix It Fridays entries because they’re posted after I leave for work. But today’s was up in time! Hooray!

Fix-it_lgThis week’s photo came from Sarah Halstead who blogs at Loving My Life. The little cutie-pie is her son, Dustyn. Sarah wrote that she was “having issues with overexposure in the top left corner and with blemishes on his face.”

Here is the original photo:

And here is my fix. I bumped up the levels, warmed up the color balance, healed some of the minor blemishes, and ran Pioneer Woman’s Sunshine action at 40%.

I Heart Faces Fix-It Fridays – Historic Girl

This is my first shot at I Heart Faces’ Fix-It Fridays. Each week they have a user-submitted photo that could use a little help, so they set all the participants loose with it.

Here’s the original shot:

FacesFixItWhat I did:

  1. Cropped with 4×6″ dimensions
  2. Ran “Heartland” action from Pioneer Woman Action Set 2
  3. Ran “Quick Edge Burn” from Pioneer Woman Action Set 1 at 30%
